The scene
Norman Osborn, the scientist and businessman who becomes the Green Goblin, learns that his son’s friend Peter is interested in science. Smiling, he tells him he’s something of a scientist himself.
The meme is used when someone does something trivial or reckless, like mixing two energy drinks, and calls it science.
